It was a wild and crazy Sunday night at the San Siro both for good and the bad, with Juventus and Inter playing out one of the highest-scoring outings in a 4-4 Derby d?Italia draw that saw Kenan Yildiz score a pair of second-half goals off the bench to earn his team a point. Sunday night at the San Siro saw plenty of ups, plenty of downs, plenty of whatever you want to deem as in between and, ultimately, Juventus? young star in the making coming off the bench to save the day and cap a wild Derby d?Italia with a pair of goals that surely made his idol proud.
There was plenty of talking points going into the first Juve-Inter showdown of the 2024-25 season. And, based simply on what the final score ended up being, that is even more the case coming out of the proceedings in Milan. It was one of the highest-scoring Juve-Inter meetings ever. It was a roller coaster ride of both good and bad, even though the first half provided lots more bad than good. But once the tide started to turn as the second half went on and Kenan Yildiz entered the fray, stretched out those long legs of him and showed the talent that makes him worthy of all the praise he receives, the comeback was on.
And while it wasn?t necessarily a win over Juve?s most-hated rivals, a simply wild draw at the San Siro knowing that Thiago Motta?s squad is far from full strength is a result that we won?t soon forget.
