Ajax?s Steven Bergwijn has been accused of desperation after changing his agent two weeks before the end of the transfer window.
Henk Spaan has covered the winger today in his column for Het Parool and has shown no hesitation in laying into him as Leicester continue to chase his signature.
The Foxes have been linked with a move for the Ajax winger for weeks with all indications that the Dutch giants would be happy to move him on and get his wages off the books.
There was initial confidence that a deal could be done but that has died down as the two sides are yet to reach an agreement.
While there have been suggestions that Bergwijn would choose Leicester if he had to, it was then reported this week that the winger had decided to change agents and link up with Ali Dursun. That was seen as a hint that he could be pushing for a move, with it made clear that players very rarely change agents, particularly at this point in the window, if they are not moving in the near future.
Spaan isn?t impressed either way, and even thinks Bergwijn may believe that he?s bigger and better than Leicester.
?I do not know whether Bergwijn has looked at the right winger of Jong Ajax, but he is visibly following a reverse path,? he said.
