Borussia Dortmund are set to cash in on Donyell Malen this summer with the Manchester United and Liverpool target available for a bargain price, according to reports.

The 25-year-old has enjoyed a strong campaign for BVB, netting 10 times in the Bundesliga, while he was on target in the first leg of their Champions League last-16 tie against old club PSV.

Dortmund?s form has tailed off a little recently and they have slipped to fourth in the table, now battling to secure a Champions League berth ahead of RB Leipzig as pressure mounts on manager Edin Terzic.

Malen has remained a consistent performer for the club ? and often a solitary spark of invention up top ? but SportBild are reporting that he may need to be sold this summer.
Dortmund have routinely cashed in on their best players but, for the first time in a while, they have no stand-out asset being chased by Europe?s big boys.

In the past, they have sold Ousmane Dembele, Jadon Sancho, Jude Bellingham and Erling Haaland for huge fees, but this time around they will have to get a little more creative.

They are also facing a major exodus of players, with Marco Reus, Mats Hummels and Marius Wolf among a number of out-of-contract players, while loanees Sancho and Ian Maatsen are both expected to return to their parent clubs.
