Speaking in May, Getafe president Angel Torres made it clear that he was keen for Greenwood to extend his stay with the Madrid-based club.

‘If it depends on the boy and the parents,’ Torres told Radio Marca. ‘I think he would continue another year here.
‘But Manchester United?s idea is to sell if there is a good offer, so we will have to wait. But I hope he is going to stay.’
