Paul Parker wants to see Bruno Fernandes stripped of the Manchester United captaincy and names the player Erik ten Hag should give the armband to.

Fernandes only replaced Harry Maguire as United’s captain in July but has faced criticism from a number of club legends including Roy Keane and Gary Neville.

Keane said Fernandes should be stripped of the armband back in October while Gary Neville argued the Portugal international doesn?t want to be captain at all and should relinquish the responsibility.

Michael Owen slammed Fernandes? lack of discipline after United?s humiliating 3-0 home defeat against Bournemouth in December.

Fernandes has also faced criticism from a number of other pundits as well as FC Copenhagen star Mohamed Elyounoussi, who called out Fernandes for ?complaining? and ?whining? during their Champions League clash in November.
Danny Murphy, meanwhile, felt Ten Hag should have picked Lisandro Martinez rather than Fernandes to be the new United captain.

Parker seems to agree with Murphy with the former United defender keen to see Martinez replace Fernandes at the end of the season.
