Ruud van Nistelrooy speaks out on his Manchester United role under Ruben Amorim

Ruud van Nistelrooy got his period as interim manager of Manchester United off to the perfect start and says he is happy to stay and help the club when a new boss comes in.
After Erik ten Hag was dismissed as manager on Monday, his fellow Dutchman stepped into the interim role before a permanent replacement is appointed.
That permanent manager is set to be Ruben Amorim, but the Sporting boss is yet to complete his move to Old Trafford.
Van Nistelrooy may not be in charge of the Red Devils for long at all, but his stock is already high after the demolition of the Foxes in the last 16 of the Carabao Cup.
Asked whether he would be happy to remain and work under the incoming permanent boss, Van Nistelrooy told Sky Sports: ‘Of course. I came here as an assistant to help the club and now in this role I’m helping as I’m needed and in the future in any capacity I’m here to help the club further to build towards the future. That’s what I’m here for.
‘As I said, I’m here to help, I’m here to serve, I’m here to give my everything for the club in any capacity with so many people here around me that want the best for the club and that will never change.’
