The Rossoneri need to make a statement of intent under the new manager to start strong following a good pre-season. AC Milan kick off the new season against Torino tonight at the San Siro. The Rossoneri have a new look and feel under Paulo Fonseca who replaced Stefano Pioli after just under five years in the job.
Milan have four new signings this summer in Strahinja Pavlovic, Alvaro Morata, Emerson Royal and now Youssuf Fofana. None are expected to start but at least two off the bench is likely. There are some key departures from the starting line up notably Olivier Giroud leaving after three seasons which will give the side a different look. Torino have reinforced with Che Adams from Southampton and Duvan Zapata from Atalanta to bolster their attack. Former Milan goalkeeper Antonio Donnarumma has also ended up there on a free transfer.
The only doubt for the game seems to be at right wing where either Samuel Chukwueze or Alexis Saelemaekers will get the nod to start.
