Milan cannot seem to string together a performance against a strong opponent. AC Milan hosted Napoli at the San Siro and got swept aside by the early league leaders in a match riddled with baffling choices from Paulo Fonseca. The game ended 2-0 as the Rossoneri were stung twice in the first half.
Individual errors continue to plague the Rossoneri and Fonseca is failing defensively - an area he was expected to improve. Milan are conceding too much.
Romelu Lukaku extended his run of scoring against us with the opener after just five minutes as he brushed off Strahinja Pavlovic with ease to beat Mike Maignan. Khvicha Kvaratshkhelia scored a wonder goal in the second half after being afforded space to run and cut in across the face of goal. Milan had an offside goal from Alvaro Morata and numerous good chances from Samuel Chukwueze setting up Morata and Christian Pulisic. Rafael Leao created lots of chances but his exclusion from the squad is shocking in such a big fixture.
