The Rossoneri are now six games without a win but are lucky Juventus keep slipping up keeping us in second. AC Milan played Genoa to a 3-3 draw at the San Siro as the Curva Sud staged a protest against the ownership of the club. Milan collapsed early on to a go down 1-0 from a penalty before equalising and recovering to a 3-2 lead followed by a late own goal to tie it up.
Alessandro Florenzi scored the equaliser at 1-1 with a solid header after Samuel Chukwueze delivered a brilliant cross into the box. Milan went down 2-1 before Matteo Gabbia dragged us back into the game yet again to make it 2-2 with a strong header from Florenzi?s corner. Olivier Giroud gave us the lead just three minutes later with a stunning volley as he met Christian Pulisic?s deep cross at the back post. Milan were winning until the 88th minutes when substitute Malick Thiaw scored an own goal after Genoa?s cross got poorly cleared by Fikayo Tomori?s onto Thiaw deflecting into the goal to close it out at 3-3 and missing out on three points yet again.
