A night of farewells for the Rossoneri but no win yet again to close out the season. AC Milan played Salernitana in the final game of the season at the San Siro. The Rossoneri were dominant but succumbed to late goals for a 3-3 draw as a number of players and the manager said goodbye.
Olivier Giroud and Antonio Mirante started in their final game for Milan while Simon Kjaer came off the bench. Stefano Pioli managed his final game for the Rossoneri too.
Rafael Leao opened the scoring after the keeper spilled the ball in a ridiculous error and he tapped it in. The stars aligned for Giroud as he bagged our second goal catching the half volley off Alessandro Florenzi?s corner. The Frenchman scored on his first and last game for the Rossoneri and ends 3 seasons with 49 goals as our no. 9. Davide Calabria added a third goal in the second half with a strong shot.
Simy scored a brace for Salernitana and Junior Sambia bagged one too to save a point for Salernitana despite their relegation.
