AC Milan Knock Down Club Brugge 3-1 As Reijnders Finds His Scoring Boots

Fonseca gets his first win in the UCL with Milan and gets bailed out by a stunning second half performance from the Dutch midfielder. AC Milan took on Club Brugge at the San Siro and came away with their first points in the new Champions League with a lucky 3-1 win after turning the tide in the second half.
Clube Brugge dominated the first half and arguably had 3 or 4 good chances at least 2 of which they should?ve scored from. Milan barely created anything in attack. Christian Pulisic opened the scoring for us against the run of play with a curling corner which the keeper misjudged and it went all the way in.
Brugge picked up a red card just before the end of the first half as their midfielder stamped on Tijjani Reijnders in a 50-50 tussle. Brugge equalised immediately after halftime despite playing with ten men as their two substitutes combined tearing open our defence and left Mike Maignan stranded. Paulo Fonseca made a brilliant set of substitutions bringing on Noah Okafor and Samuel Chukwueze for Leao and Loftus-Cheek around the 60th minute. The duo off the bench were immediately impactful as Okafor broke off on the left and cut back a low cross for Reijnders to score a tidy side-footed finish to take the lead after less than a minute on the pitch.
About ten minutes later, Chukwueze dribbled down the right beating two men and squared a ball to the inner edge of the box where Reijnders yet agai...
