Milan add another loss to an underwhelming season and the players show a lack of fight to get some points. AC Milan drop another disappointing performance in an embarassing 3-1 rout against Torino on the road as Stefano Pioli?s tenure draws to an anti-climactic end. Milan heavily rotated the squad but it was the two starting defenders in Malick Thiaw and Fikayo Tomori who dropped stinkers allowing Torino to bag three.
Zapata opened the scoring for Torino with a header as he split our centre backs and beat Sportiello with ease. Ilic doubled their lead with an easy header at the back post as the Rossoneri lost the ball in transition. Former Milan defender Riccardo Rodriguez got their third goal with a wild shot from outside the box when we lost the ball yet again. Ismael Bennacer scored a penalty for us later on but to no avail.
Milan have secured second place but have really disappointed fans with just two wins since the beginning of April to end the season.
