The Rossoneri youngsters start off well but the physicality of the league is clear to see. Milan Futuro opened their Serie C campaign against Lecco yesterday. The newly formed team that is a part of the AC Milan organisation made a statement with a 3-0 win as a number of the players promoted from the Primavera shone.
Mattia Liberali opened the scoring a secured the first ever professional goal for Milan Futuro as he capitalised on a huge error from Lecco?s defence intercepting a pass across the face of goal and easily tapping in to make it 1-0. Alejando Jimenez scored a fantastic brace coming up from right back. He smashed in his first from the edge of the box curling over the keeper with a powerful finish. In the final minutes of additional time, he made a late run into the box a caught a low shot with his left foot from outside the box beating the keeper at the far post to cap a big performance.
Daniele Bonera gets his first win as Paulo Fonseca and Zlatan Ibrahimovic were in attendance.
