The Rossoneri have seemingly closed off the key signings for this summer with a strong addition to the midfield. AC Milan have officially announced on their website the fourth signing of the summer. The Rossoneri welcome Youssouf Fofana from AS Monaco on a permanent deal. The midfielder has signed a four year contract until the summer of 2028.
The 25 year old is a box-to-box midfielder who has 175 games for Monaco under his belt scoring 7 goals and providing 15 assists. He started his career at Strasbourg with whom he won the French League Cup in 2018/19. The midfielder features regularly for the French national team since September 2022 playing 21 times scoring 3 goals and featuring in the Euros.
The player has already arrived in Milan and been presented to the fans at the San Siro during the 2024/25 season opener.
Fabrizio Romano is reporting that Milan are paying 25 million euros as a total package for the Frenchman including add-ons and bonuses. MilanNews.it are reporting that Fofana will earn 3 million euros per year over the four years.
He will wear the shirt number 29.
