AC Milan

The summer window kicks off and Morata comes in as a direct replacement for Giroud. AC Milan have officially announced on their website the signing of Spanish striker Alvaro Morata from Atletico Madrid on a four year contract with an addition one year option.
The 31 year old striker has just won the Euros with Spain as captain and became the third highest scorer in Euros history. The striker knows Serie A well as he spent two spells at Juventus where he played 185 games scoring 59 and providing 39 assists. He has two Serie A titles, two La Liga titles, two Champions Leagues and one Europa League titles amongst other to his name. Rossoneri fans will not have fond memories of the striker as the scored the winner against us in the 2015/16 Coppa Italia final as well as an additional 2 goals and 1 assist in six other games against us.
Antonio Vitiello is reporting that Milan paid a 13 million euro release clause for the striker. Capology are reporting that he will earn 5 million euros plus 500 thousand in bonuses.
Morata will wear number 7 taking it away from Yacine Adli.
