The team won?t be back in training until Tuesday. Carlo Ancelotti and his coaching staff have decided to give Real Madrid players two days off following the 0-4 loss against Barcelona in Saturday?s El Clasico. Real Madrid won?t be back in training until Tuesday, and their next game will take place the following Saturday when they visit Mestalla to face Valencia in what?s expected to be yet another intense game.
Real Madrid?s performances have been raising concerns so far this season and the team should be showing desperation against Valencia, as Ancelotti and his men definitely need to gain some momentum and bounce back from their discouraging loss in El Clasico. Changes are needed and Los Blancos must start playing with effort and cohesion if they truly want to compete for trophies this season. Giving the players two days off might be seen as a controversial decision, at least for some fans who believe the team needs to work hard and improve.
