The torrential rain has brought flash floods that cut off roads and railway lines in Valencia. There have been multiple casualties ? 72 that have been reported so far.
La Liga have also announced that there will be a minute?s silence for all the victims of the disaster in all matches of La Liga EA Sports and La Liga Hypermotion on matchday 12 and 13.
Three days of mourning have been declared in Spain.
LaLiga will have to work with both clubs to find a new date for this game once they make a decision about postponing Saturday?s meeting. It will not be an easy task considering how busy Real Madrid?s schedule will be this season.
