Stoke City man admits he’s eyeing Premier League move – Believes he’s on schedule
Stoke City?s Million Manhoef is looking to move to the Premier League in the next two years and has that as part of several future goals.
That?s according to Algemeen Dagblad, who have an interview with the 22-year-old today regarding his future plans.
The Dutchman has been at Stoke since February this year after completing a ?4m move from Vitesse at the end of the January transfer window.
He?s been enjoying life with the Potters since, with seven goals and two assists in 25 games to date building on the 16 goals and 14 assists he had in 88 games for Vitesse.
The move to England was the next step for the forward, who had previously spent the entirety of his career in the Netherlands working his way up the various youth ranks at Vitesse before moving into the first team. The Championship is naturally a gateway to the Premier League, with numerous players down the years establishing themselves in that division before making the move up.
Indeed, several Championship stars stepped up this summer with the likes of Ipswich and Southampton and it seems Manhoef is eyeing up such a move from Stoke before too long.
Algemeen Dagblad report that he has a ?clear mission?; to perform for two years and then move to the Premier League and he confirms that?s the case.
?That still stands, and I am quite on schedule,? he said.
