Player’s father raves about transfer to Swansea City – Believes his son has huge future ahead
Swansea City goalkeeper Lawrence Vigouroux?s father has raved about the player?s move to the club and believes the 30-year-old has a bright future ahead of him. Â
Vigoroux senior has been speaking to AS about his son as the Swansea man gears up for the international break with Chile. Â
It?s been a busy summer for Vigoroux, who joined Swansea in an undisclosed fee deal from Burnley. Â
It?s his latest move in a growing list of them in England, where he?s also played for Tottenham, Liverpool, Swindon Town, Waterford and Leyton Orient. Â
Only two of those spells have garnered any success, with 152 appearances for Leyton Orient and Swindon Town and only a handful of appearances for the rest of the clubs. Â
He?s yet to make his debut for the national side either despite being a part of squads in the past, sitting on the bench for five games in 2018 and 2019. Â His father believes his move to Swansea could be the turning point, though, praising the move this summer and backing his son for a brighter future, particularly in the national team. Â
?It is a great achievement for him and the family. I have always wanted him to be in the National Team,? he said. Â
