‘Coming to that time’ – Steve Cooper speaks on Brennan Johnson’s future amid Spurs pursuit

Steve Cooper has refused a rule out a late exit for Brennan Johnson, simply remarking that ‘we shall see’ if a departure is on the cards for the youngster.
Until yesterday evening, several outlets had claimed that Tottenham were not close to meeting Nottingham Forest’s valuation for Johnson (The Independent).
It was also suggested that the Lilywhites are set to face competition from Brentford, who had resurrected their pursuit of the 22-year-old (Daily Mail).
However, over the past few hours, multiple outlets have claimed that a bid from Spurs for Johnson now looks imminent.
