Football.London have confirmed that Dejan Kulusevski is now suspended for the clash against Bournemouth on Sunday after picking up his fifth yellow card of the season.
Kulusevski pulled Danny Welbeck’s shirt in the box midway into the first half just as the Brighton striker looked to pounce on a loose ball.
While the referee missed the incident, VAR intervened to make sure that the home side was awarded a penalty, Joao Pedro stepping to score the first of his two spot-kicks on the night.

One-match suspension for Dejan Kulusevski
The Tottenham man was booked for the foul, which was his fifth caution of the season, and he will now have to serve a one-match suspension.
According to the Premier League?s website, a suspension for five yellow cards is only valid until Gameweek 19, which means that Pape Matar Sarr, who is on four yellows, does not have to worry about a suspension for the time being. From this point forward, players who pick up 10 yellow cards before their team?s 32nd fixture will face a two-match ban.

While this is far from ideal, Kulusevski was one of the players who looked like he was running on empty at the Amex Stadium. So, the extra rest might do the Swede some good and Postecoglou will be hoping that Giovani Lo Celso can step up against Bournemouth.
