Fabrizio Romano says Spurs are now set to submit a proposal for teenager

Fabrizio Romano has said that Tottenham Hotspur are now ready to submit a proposal to sign Ajax starlet Stanis Idumbo Muzambo.
Muzambo came through the ranks of the Gent Academy before joining Ajax a couple of years ago, and while the attacking midfielder is yet to make his senior debut for the Dutch giants, he has been making waves at youth level.
Tottenham’s interest in the versatile attacker, who can also operate as a winger, came to light a couple of weeks ago when DH revealed that the Lilywhites are considering offering a long-term contract to the youngster.
Fabrizio Romano also backed up Spurs’ interest in the 18-year-old last week, adding that the youngster has decided to leave the Johan Cruyff Arena.
Spurs to battle Sevilla for Ajax starlet Romano has now taken to social media to provide another fresh update on Muzambo’s future, explaining that Tottenham and Sevilla are both readying offers for the player.
The journalist states that the Belgium Under-19 international has turned down the contract extension offered by Ajax and has informed the club that he will leave as a free agent next summer if he is not sold in January.
