Paul Robinson believes that even though Tottenham Hotspur now have three top central defenders at their disposal, Ange Postecoglou will want to add one more centre-half to his squad in the summer.

Tottenham went large periods of the season without their two first-choice centre-backs this season, with both Micky van de Ven and Cristian Romero both spending time on the treatment table.

In their absence, Ben Davies and Emerson Royal slotted into the positions and delivered some admirable performances.

As many expected, Spurs strengthened the area in January with the acquisition of Radu Dragusin from Genoa, with the Romanian still waiting for his first start since arriving at Hotspur Way.

Despite the 22-year-old’s arrival, several outlets have suggested that the Lilywhites are still scouring the market for other centre-backs, with the likes of Bologna’s Riccardo Calafiori (GiveMeSport), Everton’s Jarrad Branthwaite (Daily Mail) and Bournemouth’s Lloyd Kelly (TEAMtalk) mooted as targets.
