Pundit names one experienced Tottenham star who ‘has to go’ this summerÂ

Stephen Warnock has argued that Hugo Lloris’ time at the top level of the game has run out and urged Tottenham to move their captain on this summer.
Lloris has been at Tottenham since 2011 and has been the club captain for the majority of that time but the goalkeeper has shown clear signs of decline this season.

Over the last couple of months, multiple publications have reported that Spurs are expected to be in the market for the Frenchman?s successor in the summer (Daily Mail).
Football Insider claimed last month that Lloris is not likely to stick around as an understudy next season if the Lilywhites do indeed sign a first-choice goalkeeper
The report alleged that the North London club would be open to selling him for a small fee this summer, with several Ligue 1 clubs thought to have shown interest in the experienced goalkeeper. It remains to be seen how Antonio Conte and Fabio Paratici’s departures will impact Lloris’ future but Warnock believes that the 36-year-old’s best days are now behind him.
The former Aston Villa left-back told Sky Sports News (24/04/23): “The goalkeeper has to go as well. He?s been great for Spurs and he has been incredible for France over the years.
“But some of the goals he concedes and the mistakes that he makes are poor. For his standards and what he is meant to represent, the captain of the club and things like that. He has seen his best days.”
