Report: Club increase asking price for Spurs target as interest grows
Sabah claim that Fenerbahce have decided to ask for more money for Sebastian Szymanski as Tottenham Hotspur and other clubs continue to circle over the attacking midfielder ahead of the summer.
Szymanski is having an outstanding season at Istanbul, with 12 goals and 14 assists across all competitions so far this season, with several clubs, including Spurs, now thought to be taking notice of his displays.
Tottenham’s interest in the Poland international first came to light last month when Star Gazetesi claimed that the Lilywhites were keeping an eye on him.
Last week, Fanatik named the North London club as one of the three leading contenders for the player’s signature, alongside AC Milan and Bayer Leverkusen while TEAMtalk suggested a couple of days ago that Arsenal and Man United could also enter the race for the 24-year-old.

Fenerbahce want more money for Szymanski
Sabah have now claimed that far from being worried at the growing interest in Szymanski’s services, Fenerbahce actually welcome it.
The Turkish club are said to be ‘pleased with the interest’ that Tottenham and others are showing in their star man and have decided to increase their asking price.
The report says that Fenerbahce initially wanted ?20m (£17.1m) but have now decided to ‘increase the figure’ to around ?25m (£21.3m) due to the growing interest.
