Tottenham Hotspur face Manchester City in the Carabao Cup fourth round tonight, and Ange Postecoglou has now revealed his line-up for the big game.

Ange Postecoglou will be looking to his side to make it through to the next round of the cup, but they have a stern test standing in their way in the form of Pep Guardiola’s City side.

The Spaniard was responsible for ending Tottenham‘s FA Cup run last season, but has admitted he cannot give the Carabao Cup his full attention this year and is prepared to field a weakened team.

Still, even a second-string City line-up will contain some top players, and Spurs will have to be at their best to navigate this tricky cup tie.

The Lilywhites go into the game on the back of a dismal defeat to Crystal Palace at the weekend, and will need to bounce back and get the fans on side once more.

Many expected Postecoglou to rotate his line-up, as he has done in the previous round of this competition and in Europe, while still maintaining a strong enough side that can win the game, of course.

The big news is that Postecoglou has selected Timo Werner to start from the left-wing, as well as Pape Matar Sarr in midfield and Micky Van de Ven at left-back.

Meanwhile, there is no place in the starting XI for James Maddison, Destiny Udogie, Yves Bissouma, or Mikey Moore.
