Watford player has ‘exit voucher’ to leave this summer – Hornets will consider loan or permanent exit
Imran Louza will be allowed to leave Watford this summer and has an ?exit voucher? so he can depart Vicarage Road.
That?s according to Ouest France, who say the midfielder will be returning from FC Lorient but isn?t part of Watford?s plans.
Louza joined the French side in the January transfer window and proved to be a key player in the second half of the season, becoming the architect of their hopes of staying up, which ultimately didn?t happen.
That brought good memories back for him from his previous spell in Ligue 1 and perhaps drummed up interest ahead of the summer transfer window.
That?s because he?s been given an ?exit voucher? by Watford, who are open to letting him leave again, even if it is on loan. They?d prefer a permanent transfer, but a loan would be fine and that ?opens the field of possibilities? for the player, who is keen to focus on getting back to his best and potentially being in contention for a place at the World Cup in 2026.
He has suitors in Spain and France, with Nantes particularly keen from the latter after expressing an interest in January too.
Whether that leads to a deal being done remains to be seen but Watford are open to negotiations, nonetheless.
