According to a claim in the Turkish media, West Bromwich Albion are looking to offload midfielder Okay Yoku?lu.
The 30-year-old has been linked with a return to the Super Lig, but also with fellow Championship side Hull City.
Spor Sayfa have reported on the latest developments regarding Yoku?lu?s future at the Hawthorns and they say the player wants a move back to Turkey. It?s claimed Trazbonspor are in transfer talks to sign the central midfielder and that West Brom will sanction the move.
Yoku?lu has been convinced regarding a transfer to the Trabzon club and are expected to beat his former club Besiktas in the race to sign him. The player joined West Brom from the Black Eagles, but won’t be going back there. This could come as a blow to Hull City who have been linked with the Turkey international in recent weeks. The Championship side were confident of getting a deal done for Yoku?lu, but it seems they too will miss out on signing him.
Yoku?lu made 18 appearances for West Brom last season and there?s a good chance he could move on this summer. He?s contracted to the Baggies until June 2025 after arriving at the Hawthorns in 2022.
