Club’s deadline day ‘blown apart’ by Bournemouth – Late move agreed, medical completed
Enes Ãœnal is set to complete his move to Bournemouth after the Cherries closed negotiations with Getafe and the player, who has already passed his medical.
That?s according to AS, who say the Spanish side?s quiet end to the window has been ?blown apart? by Bournemouth?s last-minute move.
They explain that the club had expected little movement, hence President Angel Torres stating as much publically but Bournemouth have accelerated in the last few hours to secure Ãœnal?s signature.
The player himself wanted a change of scenery and that pushed the Cherries to get their man, with them organising a trip to Madrid for the player to undergo a thorough medical.
That has been completed, with the striker passing the required tests and allaying any fears over the serious injury he returned from this year. Bournemouth wanted guarantees on that front before agreeing to close the transfer but have apparently been given them and so a deal is now in place for the striker to join Andoni Iraola?s squad.
The newspaper makes no mention of the nature of the deal in place but given its deadline day it seems likely to be a loan deal with either an option or mandatory clause included. Reports in England have stated it will be a mandatory one but they?re not backing that up in Spain as yet.
