Bayern Munich remain hopeful of completing a deal for Tottenham Hotspur star Harry Kane this week, according to Sky Deutschland journalist Florian Plettenberg.
The Bundesliga side?s CEO Jan-Christian Dreesen and technical director, Marco Neppe, are now leading the negotiations to sign the striker.
Plettenberg says the Bavarian club?s officials are ?on their way to London now? to hold talks with Tottenham chairman Daniel Levy.
He adds both Dressen and Neppe have a good relationship with the Spurs supremo and will try to use this to their advantage when negotiating a deal for the 30-year-old.
The journalist says there have been concrete negotiations between the two clubs ?for days? and this a ?crucial development? when compared to the past few weeks. Kane, who has a year left on his Tottenham deal, has given his approval to Bayern. The England international is now waiting for the two clubs to agree a deal.
Plettenberg has also shared another tweet where Neppe is seen arriving at the airport before flying to London to hold key talks with Levy for Kane.
Earlier reports indicated the Spurs chairman cancelled a meeting with Bayern president Herbert Hainer at the last minute.
